By using AffirmatShun, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They are written to be clear — not to confuse you.
By downloading, accessing, or using AffirmatShun, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
AffirmatShun is intended for users 17 years of age or older. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately at support@affirmatshun.app if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not create accounts for others or share your account credentials.
Free Plan: Includes one daily AffirmatShun, 6 focus areas, faith language selection, daily reminders, mood check-in, 14 days of mood history, and limited journaling (up to 500 characters per entry, 1 entry per day). AffirmatShun Thrive Plan: Includes everything in the Free Plan plus 5 daily AffirmatShuns, all 29 focus areas, all tones, The Becoming Journey™, expanded journaling (up to 5,000 characters per entry, unlimited entries), 90 days of mood history, and full app customization. We reserve the right to modify what is included in each plan with reasonable notice.
AffirmatShun Thrive is available as a monthly subscription ($9.99/month) or annual subscription ($79.99/year). An introductory beta rate may be offered for a limited time on the annual plan. Lifetime access may be offered as a limited founding-member option for the first 1,000 lifetime subscribers or for up to one year after the official launch date, whichever comes first. After that period, AffirmatShun may discontinue the lifetime option. Lifetime access refers to access to the paid membership features for the life of the AffirmatShun product, subject to these Terms, platform availability, and any future changes to the service. Lifetime access does not guarantee access if the AffirmatShun service is discontinued. It does not include future separate products, coaching services, physical goods, events, or offerings not part of the in-app membership at the time of purchase. Lifetime access remains subject to account standing, platform rules, and compliance with these Terms. All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not handle your payment information directly. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play per their policies.
You own everything you write in AffirmatShun. Your journal entries and intentions belong to you. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models or for any other purpose.
AffirmatShun uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate affirmations and journal prompts. AI-generated content is for personal encouragement and reflection only. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated affirmations for any specific purpose.
AffirmatShun is a personal growth and daily practice app. It is not a mental health service, therapy platform, or substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional, crisis line, or emergency services in your area. You deserve real support. This app is one part of your toolkit — not all of it.
You agree not to: — Use the app for any unlawful purpose — Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the service — Share account access with others — Use automated systems to access the app — Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
The AffirmatShun name, logo, design, copy, and all original content created by us are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AffirmatShun is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the app. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
